We think of our town as a safe place nestled within the mountains. This idea has been passed on for generations. Little did we know there is an unsaid problem here. Domestic violence has been a big unsaid problem in our beloved town and there are young women ready to put a stop to it. If we do not have a safe space for women we can not put an end to these toxic and violent relationships and situations.

She-ro was created in 2020 and was founded by 20-year-old Zion Resto. She has crowd-funded money to fix up an old commercial building on 6th in order to provide a safe space for at-risk women and youth. The She-ro office will be up and running in two weeks. You will be able to find cloth drive bins as well as free feminine products and in the summer of 2021 women will be able to check-in for a safe place to stay. Counseling can also be set up upon request.
